We’re a week closer to the completion of Star Wars Land, and just a few months away from seeing the Rivers of America open again. Let’s take a look a this weeks progress in pictures, with the Falcon going vertical a highlight.
We’ll start with views from Critter Country through the knotholes.
There’s construction going on along the shores. Presumably for a water effect. Hard to tell for sure which one it might be in the concept art above, but my guess is it’s the twin waterfalls just under the engine car of the train.
Two more views of the construction and the rock work. Also note we can see the very tip of Tom Sawyers Island in the first photo. Looks like guests can walk right up to the edge of the island?
Rock work above the train tracks looks just about complete.
Let’s head over to Mickey and Friends. I want to know who is going to volunteer to climb that ladder.
We got to see workers put an I beam in place while we were filming.
Various other view of the Battle Escape progress.
They’ve added, or are working to add, flooring on the roof of the annex to Battle Escape. Rebar and supports everywhere. I’m wondering of the Battle Escape building will continue to encroach on this annex.
Vertical construction is well under way for the Millennium Falcon show building.
To it’s left you can see the concrete perimeter’s underway for the carousel portion of the attraction.
Stay tuned next week for more photos from Star Wars Land. Fresh Baked!!
