Fantasy Faire Sneak Peek

I’m not a girl, nor do I have any.  Even Candi isn’t exactly a princess lover.  But as time passes, I’ve grown more and more anxious to see how the new Princess Fantasy Faire turns out.  I want to see the Princesses in action.  I want to see very badly how the new area works with the castle and the hub.  So I was excited to hear that some Fantasy Faire Sneak Peek videos had been released on Youtube with construction updates.  In fact I have found two!

This first one I found at Inside the Magic.  The video is hosted by Michel Den Dulk of Walt Disney Imagineering.

I love this trend of Disney providing behind the scenes footage, along with the Blue Sky sneak peaks.  It really ramps up the excitement, and I feel was a primary reason why Cars Land popped the way it did when it opened.  This one is mostly Michel describing the area, which is cool.  But I enjoyed it for the shots of Maurice’s cart and of the interiors of some of the buildings.

This second video comes from SpanglishBaby.  I don’t know who SpanglishBaby is, or how they came to be invited to a Fantasy Faire Sneak Peek, but whatever  :)  Their video is short, but interesting as well.  Again, I love the quick shots of the interiors, which tell us that there is a lot more going on there than some whimsical facades and exterior theming.  I wish there were more, but I guess this will have to do for now.

Getting psyched yet?  Like I said, I’m not much for Princesses myself.  I mean I get it and all, it’s just not for me.  But I am really excited about this new area, and I want it to work.  I would hate to sacrifice a piece of Disneyland history for some half-hearted attempt at luring the Princess loving demographic.

And finally, be sure to check out our Blue Sky tour that provides a pretty cool Fantasy Faire sneak peek as well.
