There have been quite a few smaller newsworthy items I thought I’d like to pass on to everyone. Disneyland news and notes if you will. So…check these out I guess.
Princess Fantasy Faire
The good folks at the DisneyParks blog released another video with some behind the walls construction progress. There is a lot more detail to be seen. I really like these videos.
Peter Pan showing at Main Street Opera House
Disneyland has REALLY been trying to do some favors for Annual Pass holders these days. The latest offering is a screening of Peter Pan at the Main Street Opera House this coming Friday. There will be shows every few hours from 11 am to 7 pm. But wait, there’s more!! The park will close at 8 pm for everyone BUT those who registered for the event. Those registrants will then have the park to themselves. Sort of. It appears only the rides in Fantasyland will be in operation. This event is being run under the Limited Time Magic campaign.
You can get more info on how to register for the event in the article posted on the DisneyParks blog.
And finally…
Toontown at night
Disneyland’s chief photographer, Paul Hiffmeyer, recently spent some time after hours taking shots of Toon Town. I’m posting these because, upon reflection, I don’t think I’ve ever seen Toon Town at night. This is because the area is usually closed at dark due to the nightly fireworks show. I therefore would assume many of you also have not seen Toon Town at night. And so…check these out.

Are we sure the park closes at 8 tomorrow? The Disney site for the event had Thursdays date. I have a guest visiting from out of state and we’re going tomorrow. Last I checked it said park closed at midnight.
You are correct, I got my days mixed up. Disneyland closes at midnight tonight, DCA at 11 pm.
Loooooving those nighttime Toon Town pics!
some day I’ll be able to take a picture like that.
